,The next Government will most likely be a Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael coalition propped up by "sensible" independents. Although a handful of seats are yet to be filled, it is expected that Fianna Fáil will be the largest party with 48 seats, Fine Gael will have 38 TDs and Sinn Féin will 39 seats. With a likely total of 86 seats, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael will be within touching distance of the 87 seats needed for a majority in the new Dáil. Although Galway West TD Mairéad Farrell believes the party could still end up in Government, Irish Independent Political Correspondent John Downing thinks the numbers are against the party. “The figures don’t add up,” he told Breakfast Briefing. “Certainly, Sinn Féin went into this election in very bad shape and had, in real terms, a rather good election - given the shape they were in as they entered it. “[Government], it’s not going to happen.” Following the near total wipeout of the Green Party, attention has turned towards the Labour Party and the Social Democrats are potential Government partners. However, it's important to note that this 'tax' is paid by the person or company importing the products - not by the country that makes the product. So, if Apple imports from China - Apple is responsible for paying the tariff - not China. BENEFITS OF TARIFFS: -They protect US Companies from Foreign Competition. -Increased Job Growth. -Higher Government Revenue. -Favorable Trade Negotiations. DOWNSIDES OF TARIFFS: -Higher Prices For Everyone -Retaliation From Other Countries -A Decline In Economic Growth -Less Competition Could Lead to Less Innovation TARIFFS IN 2025: On November 25th, it was announced that Trump would enact an executive order to create “an additional 10% tariff on Chinese imports, as well as an additional 25 percent tariff on Mexico and Canada.” These tariffs would continue until China, Mexico, and Canada addressed the movement of 'bad things' and undocumented people across the US border - and, the impact could be pretty significant. After all, in response to these announcements, “Canada and Mexico said that they would retaliate with tariffs on U.S. products if tariffs on their U.S. exports were imposed” - and, as you would expect, China reflected the same sentiment, shortly after. Mexico’s president even said that “neither threats nor tariffs will solve the issue of migration or consumption of bad things." (I made this PG for YouTube). IMPACTS: If history is any indication, Trump can move forward with tariffs using rather specific law, they wouldn’t be the “economic boom” that some people think it would be, and instead, it’s said that “The measures proposed could hit a number of strategic US industrial sectors hard, add approximately $272 billion a year to tax burdens, raise goods prices, lift interest rates, and sap strength in an already-vulnerable household sector.” To make matters worse, in terms of existing tariffs: In 2022, they generated $80 BILLION DOLLARS for the US Government - which, was just 2% of all tax revenue - enough to keep the government running for just 15 days. This pretty much suggests that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to fund the US government with tariffs alone, and this is purely ‘wishly thinking’ with no chance of actually becoming a reality. WHY TARIFFS NEXT YEAR? The reality probably lies somewhere in the fact that the upcoming administration believes that our reliance on China is seen as a bad thing, both economically and politically - and, he could threaten tariffs as a way to negotiate a more favorable trade deal for the United States. Abraham Lincoln November 19, 1863 The Hon Anthony Albanese MP Prime Minister Parliament House CANBERRA ACT 2600 By email: parliament@pm.gov.au Dear Prime Minister I refer to my letter of 20 September 2024 calling on the government to immediately suspend the use of Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 products due to the evidence of significant synthetic DNA contamination, as detailed in Dr. David Speicher’s report. Unlike the Thalidomide tragedy, which resulted in over 10,000 victims globally, the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered to more than 20 million Australians, totalling over 63 million doses. The contamination detected in these vaccines, if not addressed, presents a substantial risk, with the potential for these dangers - such as genomic integration and potential long-term health impacts - to multiply with each additional dose administered. Immediate action through a suspension of these products is critical to mitigate further risk. To assist in adopting a precautionary approach and minimizing further harm, I enclose a Science Summary created and endorsed by eminent Australian and international scientists and medical experts. The summary reinforces the known and potential dangers of DNA contamination and highlights the need for an urgent and independent investigation. As advised by the co-signatories, the Department of Health and Aged Care has produced no evidence to demonstrate why the detected DNA contamination will not produce the dire adverse health outcomes detailed in the Science Summary. Additionally, I have reason to believe that multiple attempts by prominent scientists to warn the TGA of these risks have been disregarded since early 2021, raising serious questions about the agency's ability to protect the health and well-being of Australians. Finally, I draw your attention to the Biosecurity Act 2015, which may now be relevant. Given the contamination evidence, I recommend the Minister for Agriculture initiate a Biosecurity Import Risk Analysis of these products, potentially leading to the suspension of these products due to the risks they pose to human health. I gratefully acknowledge the assistance of the 52 co-signatories below in the preparation of this letter and reiterate my call seeking your urgent action to ensure the safety of all Australians. While every foxhole will be exposed, they won't be exposed all at once because we, the Church, couldn't take it. For too long, our confidence has been in heroes of the faith instead of Jesus. So here is the question: when these leaders of faith fall, does your faith? This is the test to see who you are trusting the most.
