"In November 2022, just days after announcing his 2024 run for president, former President Donald Trump dined with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago. As noted at the time, Trump made numerous remarks around the visit but declined to make any statements condemning Fuentes. While some Republicans spoke out, many others were silent, including many Fox News commentators.
Fuentes is a white supremacist leader who attended the deadly 2017 “Unite the Right” white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, called for a “white uprising” to install Trump as a dictator, and has generated a lengthy list of bigoted statements, including his recent exhortation for Jews to “get the fuck out of America.” He is also a Holocaust denier."
