Why America needs a hypersonic SPY PLANE

With conflicts raging the world over and a renewed focus on competition between global powers, the United States may need to harken back to a Cold War approach to intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance by fielding a new generation of supremely capable, and optimally high-speed, spy planes. But in this era of reusable rockets and advanced spy satellites, one of the biggest challenges that such a program could face, both among lawmakers and the general public, is the pervasive belief that high-flying reconnaissance aircraft are a thing of the past.
