,THE suspect accused of murdering and beheading his father and showing off his head during an unhinged right-wing rant on YouTube bought a gun the day before the alleged crime, police have revealed. Justin Mohn, 32, was arrested on Tuesday after his mother, Denice Mohn, called 911 to report finding her husband decapitated and covered in blood at their home. In a press conference on Friday, police said that Justin Mohn, 32, bought a 9mm handgun in Croydon, Pennsylvania, near the family's house in Levittown, north of Philadelphia. Police confirmed the gun, taken at the time of arrest, was missing a single round. Cops also said that the victim, Michael Mohn, 68, was shot in the head before he was beheaded with a knife and machete. Justin was of clear mind and had no history of mental illness, according to police. Police also confirmed that Mohn had previously worked at Microsoft, but was currently unemployed. Mohn was arrested nearly 100 miles from the crime scene at the Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania. Justin's mother arrived home Tuesday evening to find her husband's body and ran to neighbors to call the police. Middletown Township police responded to the call around 7 pm. Upon entering the home, they found Michael's body in the first-floor bathroom and his head was inside a plastic bag in a kitchen pot placed in a first-floor bedroom. They also found bloody rubber gloves, a machete, and a large kitchen knife in the bathtub. The Tesla CEO was photographed in Los Angeles, California, on January 25 after spending a night at a luxury hotel. A somber Musk wore a plain black long-sleeve shirt and pants as he walked the streets of the City of Angels. He stuck his tongue to the inside of his cheek, looking seemingly upset. The melancholy appearance may have something to do with the Tesla CEO losing some of his assets. Musk took a $18.8 billion hit to his net worth on Thursday, according to Forbes. The loss comes after Tesla's stock sank 13.2% to 180.38. However, Musk continues to remain the world's richest person with an estimated net worth of $203.6 billion. The news comes just one day after Tesla announced its vehicle production growth rate is projected to drop in 2024. Tesla's announcement follows the company's stocks plummeting after the EV giant's reported Q4 earnings missed estimates. A press release shared on Wednesday stated that the company's "vehicle volume growth rate may be notably lower than the growth rate achieved in 2023." This indicates that the company would not reach estimates of 2.19 million for 2024, per Yahoo Business. The company also announced that revenue for Q4 was $25.17 billion, compared to an estimated $25.87 billion. While Tesla's vehicle production growth rate is projected to decrease in 2024, Musk noted that the company is set to start production on a next-gen vehicle in the second half of 2025. "We are focused on bringing the next-generation platform to market as quickly as we can, with the plan to start production at Gigafactory Texas. "This platform will revolutionize how vehicles are manufactured," Tesla said on an earnings call, per Yahoo Business. "We're very far along on our next-gen low-cost vehicle; we're really excited about this. "This is a revolutionary manufacturing system, far more advanced than any other in the world," Musk said on the call. The early morning raid, carried out last week, is the latest effort to fight back against a dangerous drugs trade that is tightening its grip on the pretty cathedral city of Peterborough. Unflatteringly recently voted the “UK’s most depressing” area three times in a row, its proud residents insist they are “insulted” after being shortlisted again for the title in the annual poll by iLiveHere. What is undeniable, however, is their frustration over a tide of lawlessness that has led to rampant shoplifting and wanton drug users lighting and shooting up on the streets. Last year, Peterborough City Council was awarded £1.9million over two years as part of a renewed drive to offer drug and alcohol treatment services. Like countless other areas across the UK, the Cambridgeshire city has been blighted by county lines gangs shifting Class A drugs including heroin and crack cocaine. One despairing resident on a road outside of the city centre tells The Sun they have witnessed screaming addicts taking drugs "until four o’clock in the morning", often brazenly outside their window. Last year, the police announced a major fightback with Operation Tsunami, which targeted drug dealing, exploitation and serious street-based violence in Peterborough. Over the course of a month, 48 people were arrested and 22 charged with 88 drug offences. It resulted in 12 people being jailed for more than 35 years and £250,000 of drugs being taken off the streets. Cambridgeshire Constabulary explained that they had launched the landmark operation last May after a spate of violence in the area. Police said that since April 2020, there has been 28 attempted murders within Peterborough, 14 of which were directly related to drugs and 64 per cent of which used a blade or knife. ,A daycare centre in Washington was evacuated on January 18, minutes before a gas leak caused an explosion at a store next-door. Emergency crews received reports of an outside gas leak on Thursday morning and began evacuating buildings on the street. “About 20 minutes after that first 911 call there was an explosion in the two-storey building. That explosion knocked out the windows on the second floor and created a flash fire. A secondary explosion occurred in a convenience store and it knocked down the convenience store,” Fire and EMS Chief John A Donnelly said. Video shared by DC Fire and EMS shows firefighters standing outside a convenience store when a huge explosion destroys the shop, sending debris flying across the street. One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The 16 children who were safely evacuated from the daycare centre were reunited with their parents a short time later. Firefighters believe the leak happened after a vehicle struck a gas meter attached to a building. “Lives were saved by the swift action of the first arriving firefighters at this 2nd Alarm gas explosion and fire,” they said.
