Medics recovered 19 bodies from northern Nuseirat and more fatalities were reported across Gaza. Israeli military operations disrupted rescue efforts as tanks entered and withdrew from northern Nuseirat.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem declared a "great victory" in Lebanon following a ceasefire. He emphasised coordination with the Lebanese army to enhance defensive capabilities. Separately, the Israeli army reported targeting a Hezbollah rocket launcher in southern Lebanon, citing ceasefire violations.
In Israel, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi hinted at resignation after October 7 attack investigations, pledging accountability and personal decisions once the probe concludes.
