Schumacher describes four fields of knowledge:
1 - What do I feel like?
2 - What do you feel like?
3 - What do I like like?
4 - What do you look like?
"Without self-awareness, i.e. without a consciousness that is conscious of itself, man merely imagines that he is in control of himself, that he has free will and is able to carry out his intentions. In fact, as Ouspensky would put it, he has no more freedom to form intentions and act in accordance with them than has a machine. Only in occassional moments of self-awareness has he such freedom, and his most important task is by one means or another to make self-awareness continuous and controllable."

,1,"Never believe the things you tell yourself when you feel sad and alone. The words you say to yourself matter."
"No amount of regret can change the past and no amount of anxiety can predict the future. Instead of criticizing yourself, which makes things worse, accept who you are..."
"God is not in a hurry, you are! Gives your cares to God because He cares for you. Trade negative words for the many positive words found in scripture."
,1,Creating a Mindset for Ultimate Success
"Look in the mirror - that's your competition. Your worst enemy can't harm you as much as your unfiltered thoughts."
,1,Chapters 11 to 14
Chapter 11 The Medical Evidence
Page 198: "Literally, excruciating means 'out of the cross'. Think of that: they needed to create a new word, because there was nothing in the language that could describe the intense anguish caused during the crucifixion."
Chapter 12 The Evidenc of the Missing Body
Page 209: "When we turn to the gospels, we find multiple, independent attestation of this burial story, and Joseph of Arimathea is specifically named in all four accounts. On top of that, the burial story in Mark is so extemely early that it's simply not possible for it to have been subject to legendary corruption."
Page 220 There is evidence that Mark was written before 37 A.D.
Chapter 13 The Evidence of Appearances
Page 235: "All of the gospels and Acts evidence - incident after incident, witness after witness, detail after detail, corroboration after corroboration- was extremely impressive. Although I tried, I couldn't think of any more thoroughly attested event in ancient history."
Chapter 14 The Cicumstantial Evidence
Page 249: "Muhammad claims he went into a cave and had a religious experience in which Allah revealed the Koran to him. There's no other eyewitness to verify this. Muhammad offered no publicly miraculous signs to certify anything."
Page 250: Five weeks after he's crucified, over ten thousand Jews are following him and claiming that he is the initiator of a new religion.
