,1,In this video I discuss one possible cause of Crohn's Disease/Ulcerative colitis that many people will not have considered before. IBD has a large hormonal component to it and the release of these hormones are stimulated by certain areas in the brain. If somebody has endured a TBI or for some reason the afferent messages sent to the brain have been faulty, over time this could lead to chemical imbalances within the brain creating hormonal imbalances within the digestive tract.
Timestamps:
00 - Where does Crohn's Disease come from?
12 - Natural vs Conventional approach to IBD
18 - Should we look further than the gut?
07 - Could neurology play a part in IBD?
25 - Hormonal imbalances in IBD sufferers
00 - A Crohn's Disease analogy
27 - Right vs left sided cortical weakness?
53 - Questions to consider
