Firefly is the largest illegal alien processing center in Eagle Pass, Texas. Press are rarely ever allowed inside, but we spoke with someone who used to work in the facility. He told us the center was originally slated to process a maximum of 1,500 people at once, but at its busiest about 5,000 illegal aliens are processed through Firefly at one time.
Processing takes a maximum of 72 hours and then the illegal aliens are released.
