Megyn Kelly said she can’t figure out why people she normally agrees with are promoting “bizarre” conspiracy theories about Taylor Swift. NY Post reporter Ariel Zilber shares this story.
Swift, whose already immense star power has been magnified by her romance with NFL star Travis Kelce, has been targeted by Republicans over her allegiance to the Democratic Party.
Some Donald Trump supporters have floated theories claiming that the “Shake It Off” singer could be “a front for a covert political agenda” that was cooked up by the Pentagon in order to get President Biden re-elected.
Others have pondered whether Swift was manipulated by liberal billionaire financier George Soros into becoming an activist Democrat.
“Literally, people believe this. People on the right who I like and respect are pushing this,” Kelly said during Wednesday’s episode of her SiriusXM podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show.”
