,1,Shawn Bolz reaction to Jubilee’s Middle Ground about Christians & Ex Christians! Why Are So Many Deconstructing? Well Jubilee emerged on Youtube creating social experimental videos, helping to create formats for both real conversations about controversial topics but also looking at how we do relationships and playfully and sometimes grossly entertaining its audience with impossible situations where groups that don’t play well together talk, or where an imposter is trying to get away with hiding who they are from a certain subject group of people for a prize.
Jubilee recently did a video about Christians and Ex Christians talking and my team put some of the best clips together and asked me to react to it. I haven’t watched it so what you are going to get from me is my unfiltered reaction and I actually enjoy seeing these videos from Jubilee even if there are a lot of cringe moments.
So encouraged to do this reaction video with you. Leave a comment below with other videos like this that would be good to cover or react to in the future! Also give us your real reaction to some of the clips you just watched with me, what would you say that I didn’t? Let's create a conversation together. I want to hear from you!

,1,As northern and eastern Australia brace for ample rain, the Bureau of Meteorology's seasonal outlook shows a dry winter for Western Australia's most populous region - here's why.

As northern and eastern Australia brace for a wet and wet winter, the Bureau of Meteorology's seasonal outlook shows Western Australia's most densely populated areas are very different from the rest of the country.
Takeaway: Drier winters expected for WA's South West Land Department
A dry winter is forecast for the WA South West Land Department. Rising sea temperatures are partly to blame
Rising sea temperatures are one reason climate change models suggest drought will persist
Instead of being wrapped in blues and greens, the precipitation forecast map is marked with shades of orange and red - an indication of what could be a dry winter.
The Bureau of Meteorology's director of long-term forecasts, Andrew Watkins, said much of the south-west, including Perth, was likely to experience below-average rainfall this winter.
"The odds are about 70 per cent and it's drier than average, so it's the opposite of anywhere else in Australia," he said.
For Perth, that means less than 395mm of rain.
The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a wet and wet winter for much of the country, but particularly in Western Australia's most populous areas.
Above-average heat is forecast for Perth and the state's south-west.
Meanwhile, the northern parts of the state, including the Pilbara and Kimberley, are forecast to experience above-average wet temperatures over the next three months.
So why is there a difference?
Warm oceans come into play
The BOM outlook takes into account the effects of climate change and natural climate drivers.
Dr Watkins said it was a "probabilistic forecast" that essentially looked at how the dice would load up for the upcoming season.
Western Australia's Pilbara and Kimberley regions could experience a wetter winter.
One of the main reasons for the above-average rainfall in the north and east of the country this winter is warmer sea temperatures, he said.
These include a climate driver known as the Indian Ocean Dipole, which is expected to enter a "negative" phase in the coming months.
Negative IOP occurs when sea surface temperatures in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa are cooler than usual, while waters in northwestern Australia are warmer.

Every event is different, but a negative IOD typically brings wet weather from Gascoyne in Western Australia to Tasmania.
"So negative IOP encourages those northwest cloud bands, especially at this time of year when you get into winter," he said.
"They saw huge clouds c

,1,Join us in-person and online for a discussion with journalist Katie Hafner, who covers scientific advances, especially those by women, and her husband, Dr. Robert Wachter of UCSF, who is on the forefront of the digital transformation of health care and has been influential in advancing public understanding of the COVID crisis. Dr. Wachter coined the term “hospitalist” in 1996 and has overseen that medical specialty, the fastest growing specialty in modern medical history. His tweets on COVID-19 have been a trusted source of information on the clinical, public health, and policy issues surrounding the pandemic, garnering more than 500 million views.
Hafner and Wachter are at the center of advancing public understanding of science and health care through various media. We will discuss Hafner’s popular "Lost Women of Science" podcast, her groundbreaking nonfiction books, and her recent switch to fiction with The Boys. We’ll also discuss Dr. Wachter’s perspective on COVID—including lessons learned—as we enter a new phase of the pandemic, how health care will be transformed by digital tools like ChatGPT, and how to communicate about science in the face of uncertainty, political polarization, and misinformation. In addition, they’ll discuss the experience of working and writing together as a married couple, particularly when the pandemic forced them—like so many couples—into the same bubble.
In Association with Wonderfest.

Donald Trump believes tariffs benefit the United States and stop wars. Is he correct in saying this?
Bjorn Lomborg is the president of the Copenhagen Consensus Center, a think tank dedicated to applying economic analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, to proposed policies around the issues of the day. He’s also a visiting professor at Copenhagen Business School and a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Lomborg is the author of many books, including the 2001 bestseller The Skeptical Environmentalist.
In this interview, we discuss his latest book, Best Things First. Offering cost-benefit analyses of many of the top-line policies of industrial and developing nations, Dr. Lomborg discusses which policies we should prioritize and which we should pay less attention to or end. He also asserts the benefits of economic growth and argues that by investing in technology, we can solve major global problems, including hunger.
