Motorcyclist killed in southwest Las Vegas crash was speeding, police said

The motorcyclist killed in a crash with a car in the southwest Las Vegas valley late Friday was traveling at a high rate of speed, police said. The crash happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Buffalo Drive and Badura Avenue and injured three people in a 2023 Toyota Camry. The motorcyclist was identified as 18-year-old Sonny Trushel of Las Vegas by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
