“The Revolution Will Not Be Funded (For Us)” — Reparations, Self-Funding & Real Freedom

Dr. Umar answers the question: What’s your core message to Black youth? His response: liberation through unity—fight for reparations while building power now with our own schools, hospitals, banks, and supermarkets. He argues we spend like a top-10 economy yet lack institutions, says movements must be self-financed, and breaks down how religion, materialism, and celebrity culture blunt collective progress. He contrasts segregation vs. desegregation, calls for buying closed schools (even whole towns), and says education is the lever to shift the collective mindset.
