,The video you are about to watch is a talk delivered in Metz France by well known author Philip K Dick in the year 1977. The talk delivered is titled “If You Find This World Bad, You Should See Some of the Others”. This presentation zones in on one theory which we have discussed here on this channel a number of times, and that is that the Earth realm is more than likely some sort of computer programmed simulated reality. We've also speculated together that all or part of the universe could also be a computer program of sorts.....but that conversation is for another day. Dick goes on to say quote: ---“We are living in a computer-programmed reality, & the only clue we have to it is when some variable is changed, and some alteration in our reality occurs." ---"We would have the overwhelming impression that we were reliving the present, déjà vu, perhaps precisely in the same way, hearing the same words, saying the same words. I submit that these impressions are valid and significant, and I will even say such an impression is a clue that in some past time point a variable was changed, reprogrammed as it were, and that because of this an alternative world branched off." Dick goes into the who, what, where, when, and why of how he came to this theory. For this type of speech to occur in 1977, Dick was way ahead of his time....Today we have a number of people researching & discussing this very topic, and it is no longer laughed at. In a number of books that Dick has wrote he warned us about future technology advancements, almost every one of those has come true or is on the cusp of becoming inserted into society....Here is a short list: -The Surveillance State Will Track Everything We Do -We'll Craft Our Own Realities -Computers Will Connect The Entire World -Artificial Intelligence Will Take Over -Humans Will Lose Themselves In Virtual Reality -We Will Clone Ourselves And Alter Our DNA -Humans Will Become Information Processing Experts -"Science" Will Alter Our Memories -Marketing Will Take Over Everything -The Media Will Perfect Brainwashing Here is a short one paragraph bio on him I took from Wikipedia....For those interested in knowing more about I'd suggest take a look at the link below. His work was concerned with questions surrounding the nature of reality, perception, human nature, and identity.
