Latin Kings: Most Powerful Latino Organization in U.S. History

The story of the Latin Kings is one of the most powerful and misunderstood movements to ever rise from the streets of Chicago. What began as a small brotherhood on the city’s West Side grew into one of the largest and most structured street organizations in America — known for its deep code, strong identity, and unbreakable loyalty. This documentary explores the true history behind the Latin Kings — from their early beginnings in the nineteen-fifties and sixties, to their battles for control in the seventies and eighties, and their expansion across the nation. Built around the idea of unity and respect, the Latin Kings became more than just a gang; they became a symbol of pride and power that spread through cities from New York to Chicago, and beyond. Behind the gold and black colors lies a story of struggle, leadership, and survival. From the reign of King Papo and King Tone to the internal wars and law enforcement crackdowns that followed, this is the rise, the fall, and the lasting legacy of the Almighty Latin King Nation. This is the untold truth of the Latin Kings — the story of the Crown that ruled the streets.
