Twitter may be committing acts of government censorship under the banner of a private company. This is the basis of a Trump lawsuit against the platform, which will examine whether its act of de-platforming Donald Trump when he was President of the United States was done at the government's request.
According to Alex Kozinski, a former Ninth Circuit Judge and a Trump lawyer on the case, the lawsuit could have a sweeping impact on free speech. If it's determined that Twitter was acting under government pressure on censorship, and if the court views this as a type of state censorship, then such forms of censorship could be deemed illegal.

As a move to fight against alleged climate change, researchers are developing technologies to block sunlight from reaching the earth’s surface. This includes a program from Harvard, financed by Bill Gates, to spray chemicals into the earth’s stratosphere that would mimic the effects of ash clouds from a volcanic eruption. Other programs include the use of “space bubbles” to reduce the amount of sunlight reaching the earth.
There are proposals underway to create government regulations on programs that would reduce the amount of sunlight reaching the earth, or “solar geoengineering.”

The Federal Reserve is planning to cause unemployment in the United States with 4.4 percent interest rates by the end of the year, in a bid to reduce inflation. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said, “There will very likely be some softening of labor market conditions,” due to the planned actions of the Fed, which is forecasting that 1.2 million Americans will lose their jobs. The move to cause unemployment is being pushed to reduce spending, which the Fed believes will reduce “demand” and force companies to reduce prices of goods.
Meanwhile, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has officially designated the Mexican drug cartels as terrorist organizations over their export of the deadly drug fentanyl into the United States. Abbott is also calling on President Joe Biden to follow with a similar designation on the cartels at the federal level.
