Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 38-year-old man in Tameside. Thomas Campbell was found dead at a house on Riverside in Mossley last Sunday morning.
detectives from GMP's Major Incident Team are questioning two men - aged 31 and 37 - on suspicion of Mr Campbell's murder.
A man found dead before a murder investigation was launched was previously jailed after he was caught using 'dirty money' to fuel a jetset lifestyle of luxury holidays and high-powered cars. Detectives launched a probe after Thomas Campbell, 38, was found dead at a property on Riverside, Mossley, Tameside, on Sunday morning.
Police say they believe Mr Campbell was killed in a 'targeted attack', although his cause of death has not been revealed. In 2019, Mr Campbell was jailed for two years at Manchester Crown Court after he admitted concealing criminal property.
