G20 Sherpas Meeting | Issues of open trade & food security discussed

South Africa's G20 sherpas says while the grouping has previously made commitments to promote open and free trade, there has not been much success in this area. Briefing the media in Johannesburg after two days of deliberations, the sherpas say the priorities of South Africa's presidency of inclusive growth and food security require open and free trade. The South African representatives say trade protectionism should be dealt away with if these priorties are to gain impetus during it presidency.
