Gabby Petito, 22, of Blue Point, Long Island, was last seen on 24 August when she checked out of a Salt Lake City hotel with her partner of two and half years, Brian Laundrie. She was reported missing by her family on the evening of 11 September, said police.
Ms Petito and Mr Laundrie had been documenting their travel experiences as ‘van-lifers’ across the US on a YouTube channel called ‘Nomadic Statik’. She would regularly FaceTime her mother, but her mother grew worried when she hadn’t heard from her for days and notified the authorities.
North Port police told Dailymail.com Laundrie's parents refused to let authorities interview their son at their home Saturday and admitted that the sudden disappearance of the 22-year-old is 'odd.'
'We have not talked with him, we would love to talk to him,' said North Port Police spokesman Josh Taylor.
'He is under no obligation to talk to us – and he has not. And we don't even know yet if a crime happened.'
Asked if police had turned up at the home of Laundrie's parents to speak with him, Taylor replied: 'Of course.'
He added: 'We did not actually talk to him. We talked to his parents. And they did not want to make him available to do that.'
Laundrie's father, 62-year-old Christopher Laundrie, was seen mowing his lawn on Monday, and refused to comment on his son's whereabouts.

Please contact me before making claims. gabby petito disappears after cross-country trip with her boyfriend The body of Jenae Gagnier, 33, was found in her apartment in Richmond, Texas, on Sunday, August 29. Known online as Miss Mercedes Morr, she had amassed 2.6 million followers on Instagram. Gagnier’s father told multiple news outlets that he rushed to his daughter’s apartment on Sunday, concerned that he had been unable to reach her on the phone all weekend.
“I know my daughter and when I got to my daughter’s house and it was locked up and she’s not answering my phone call, which is not like her, I knew something was up. So I didn’t hesitate to kick the door down,” said Mark Gagnier. “What I saw, I wouldn’t want any parent to go through.”
He found his daughter dead at the bottom of the stairs.
“I walk in and Janae’s on the floor, and her clothes are all torn up and stuff,” Gagnier said.
The Medical Examiner’s office determined Gagnier died by “strangulation and traumatic concussion.”

A recent video of alleged abuse taking place at Costco in Palm Desert has attracted a lot of attention on social media.
Riverside County Sheriffs investigated the situation and said the allegations were not found to be credible. But what do you do if you think you are in a situation where you are witnessing child abuse, who do you call?
“I seen the little girl ask, the adopted child ask if she can take a bite of a hot dog, the father said, you don’t speak and you don’t ask any questions, your sick and you are not allowed to eat,” said Angelica Mendez, who witnessed and recorded the alleged abuse.
Mendez remembered what she witnessed at the Palm desert Costco on Friday and shared it on social media.
“I start asking her more questions, I’m like are you okay, are you okay baby, are you hungry? and she tells me, she shakes her head no, but starts crying more, I ask her three times, she says the same answer which is no, the fourth time she says yes. she says yes she looks up, she looks back down so quick, and the father kicked her under the table, she starts to cry even more. He tells the family lets get up and let’s get going,” explained Mendez.
Mendez then called 9-1-1 and followed the family to their cars as she recorded, by the time sheriffs arrived, the family in the video had left. Riverside County Sheriffs the next day, updating Mendez on the incident.
“They called me the next day to say hey, we’ve located the family, they’re in Arizona, they did an investigation, all they told me was she is in a safe family home,” said Mendez.
The video has garnered a lot of attention online being viewed more than half a million times. Riverside County Sheriff’s also addressing the situation with this post early Monday calling the information not credible.
This situation leaves many people asking, what to do if they catch themselves in a similar situation.
“If anybody sees anything abusive, and it can be anything from neglect, physical abuse, it could also be even emotional abuse or anything that can be damaging to their mental health, definitely want to report that. you want to call the child protective services hotline, they have a 24-hour hotline in all counties in California,” said Adriana Camacho, Family Clinician.
“Jumping on your phone and recording for a lot is something that may be of an instinct, however, you really need to consider what you do with the recording at that point. posting it online can further exploit a child and it could put innocent people in danger,” explained Jessica Bower, Co-founder of Missing Justice.
Again, according to the sheriff’s this incident at Costco was not a case of abuse but if you believe you’re a witness to abuse you can call 1-800-442-4918.
“You can call every day, that is your right, you can call every single day to that crisis line. if that didn’t sit well with you and you continue to observe or see anything else that is suspicious, any form of neglect,” explained Camacho.

However, Satterwhite said investigators have not been able to verify that and, in fact, Sam may have gone missing weeks ago. The last time anyone outside of his family saw him was at Holbrook Elementary in Cy-Fair ISD on Friday, April 30, according to police. The last day of school is June 3.

Early on the morning of May 15, Darriynn Brown crept into the twins’ bedroom, lifted a still-sleeping Cash Gernon out of the toddler bed he shared with Carter, and walked out.
The footage shoes the intruder returning about two hours later, hovering over the bed where Carter remained in slumber, before abruptly leaving as though he was startled by something.
Monica Sherrod, who's the mom of four children, said she has been taking care of the two Gernon twins after her ex-boyfriend, Trevor Gernon, 31, moved into her home and March and left them.

A neighbor Jose Alvarado checked his security cameras for any footage that might help investigators. He found a video 10 weeks cash was left on the street. Darriynn Brown, skulking down the street, opening Alvarado’s backyard gate and peering in before quickly walking away.
Alvarado’s house shares a back alley with the home of Monica Sherrod, 35, who was taking care of Cash and his twin, Carter. She has said she was dating the twins’ father, Trevor Gernon, a 31-year-old construction worker, until he reportedly left town in March when a court ordered him to report to rehab.
That left Sherrod to care for the boys for the next two months—unbeknownst to their mother, Melinda Seagroves, who lives in Houston.
Marisela Botello from Seattle took a weekend trip to Dallas, Texas. Botello hasn’t been seen since the last night of her trip. Her phones turned off, she never showed up to her flight back home to Seattle Washington. Marisela was last seen around local bars in Dallas with a guy. She went to the Deep Ellum Dallas Texas bar Select Start and surveillance video captured her leaving the bar wearing a purple dress. Her family & friends are driving from Seattle to Texas in hopes to find Marisela & bring her home.
According to the Dallas Police Department Charles Beltran is a person of interest. In their call to the public asking for anyone to come forward if they know how to find him, they say they want to talk to him as it relates to the “Botello missing person investigation.” According to Fox News, Botello’s family said Beltran has “gone dark” and police have been unable to reach him. They said he “disconnected all social media and once they identified him “he was unreachable and appeared to have moved,” Castillo told Fox.
Nina Tamar Marano, 49, was arrested Thursday in Miami in connection with Marisela Botello Valadez. Lisa Dykes AKA Lisa Ahmed, 57 was arrested Saturday. Charles Beltran is still wanted.
Phone records show that Botello was with Marano, Beltran, and Dykes at the suspect's residence on Oct. 5, the affidavit said.

Angela Morrisey flew down to Miami from her California home to vacation with her boyfriend, Miami police said. On March 28, her and her boyfriend were at Bayside Marketplace waiting for a boat tour. Morrisey had left to go to the bathroom but she never came back. She had left Bayside with two other people, and while at the marketplace lost her phone. A day later, she was seen on security cameras at a Hialeah gas station about 11 miles away, at 2295 W. Okeechobee Road, police said.

Anderson says he found Morrisey wandering the streets about a week ago. She was “along, hungry and tired,” he told police. He gave her a place to sleep at the warehouse he looks after.
For a week, Morrisey was sleeping in a white Volkswagen parked outside the warehouse. The car belonged to the business. Anderson says he gave her food and clothing.

Noemi Bolivar missing left her home in Hollywood, FL. This was on Thursday, Feb 11th after 4pm. According to Facebook friends & family she went for a walk and has not returned. She only had her cell phone on her.

Quawan Charles from Louisiana went missing on October 30. Roxanne Nelson, Quawan’s mother had planned to pick him up from his father’s home for a haircut at 3 p.m., but he didn’t answer his phone, according to Mr. Haley.
