We investigate its leaders, in particular the coordinator of the “al-Aqsa flood” attack: Mohammed Deïf. The Israeli security services have been tracking him relentlessly for three decades. The other mastermind of the organization is Ismaël Haniyeh, head of the political bureau. He has taken refuge in Qatar. Thanks to the testimonies of former members of the Israeli intelligence services, we reveal the methods that enabled Hamas to slip under the radar of the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service: underground caches, a network of dozens of kilometers of tunnels, old-fashioned communications, homemade rockets and also the use of modern technologies, such as drones and cyberattacks. According to its former director, Ami Ayalon, the Shin Beth had relied solely on electronic surveillance to the detriment of human intelligence. We reveal the financial support Hamas received to carry out this operation. For years, the Iranians have been the terrorist movement’s main allies in its fight against Israel. In Lebanon, we interviewed a senior Hamas official who, a few days after the massacre, was delighted with the success of the operation. ,On November 29, the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's armed wing, claimed responsibility for a shooting near Ariel in the West Bank. The attack targeted a bus carrying Israeli soldiers and settlers, leaving eight people injured, including three seriously. The assailant, 46-year-old Samir Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, ambushed the bus, shattering its windshield with over a dozen bullet holes. Israeli forces neutralised the assailant near the Ariel settlement. Hamas described the attack as a heroic operation. In Gaza, Israeli airstrikes killed at least 40 Palestinians, including casualties in the Nuseirat refugee camp and Beit Lahiya. Medics recovered 19 bodies from northern Nuseirat and more fatalities were reported across Gaza. Israeli military operations disrupted rescue efforts as tanks entered and withdrew from northern Nuseirat. Meanwhile, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem declared a "great victory" in Lebanon following a ceasefire. He emphasised coordination with the Lebanese army to enhance defensive capabilities. Separately, the Israeli army reported targeting a Hezbollah rocket launcher in southern Lebanon, citing ceasefire violations. In Israel, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen.
