In order to curb corruption and secure steady inflow of international financial help from the IMF the Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, has approved a package of draft laws reforming judiciary as well. The goal is to secure more money from the already approved 5 billion USD help from the Fund. Also in the program: A United Nations report on the civil war in the Central African Republic has blamed Russian mercenaries for multiple cases of human rights abuse. The report, which was obtained by a number of news agencies on Monday, says Russian forces used excessive force against local residents, looted civilian property and conducted indiscriminate killings in the course of the violent conflict.
