This video presents a geocentric perspective of the Earth, Sun, and Mars. A color coded line draws the ephemeris (path) of Mars; where warm-red colors signify faster movement, and blue-cool colors represent slower speeds.
Uses position and velocity data provided by NASA JPL over a period of 165 years sampled at every 48 hours; which allows for the configuration of different coordinate systems.
